Swartland & Paarl Region
Home of elegant artisanal wine
Doran Vineyards is located just off the R45 on the Swartland borders about 14 km from Wellington and 15 km from Paarl, with panoramic views of the Cape Winelands, which together with the quality soils, exposure, and weather conditions are the perfect ingredients for producing elegant, artisanal wines.
Discover Our WinesThe Farm
Where vine stock and livestock thrive in harmony
Our beautiful estate is home to Aberdeen Angus cattle, Île-de-France sheep, and Bushveldt hens. In addition to the livestock, wildlife includes numerous grysbokkies (they just love to eat the young olive trees), steenbok, duikers, caracals, and bat-eared foxes. The farm dam hosts carp fish and a large collection of birds, ducks, and geese. Birdlife includes fish eagle, Egyptian geese, wild ducks, pelicans, blue cranes, rock pigeons, Cape weavers, and hadedas.

The Diversity of our Farmland
Our terroir is the key ingredient of our wine, giving it its elegance and distinction. The diverse and exceptional quality of our soils, as well as the unique weather conditions of Swartland and Paarl, allow us to produce world-class wines that reflect the unique characteristics of the land.
